ABOUT ME

My name is Mark Mulhearn. I am from Glasgow and  a graduate of Strathclyde University Business School.

While at university I set up the Sports and  Business Society.

We organised a newspaper which went out on a bi-monthly basis. I was the reporter for rugby and football matches.

Straight after university, I lived and worked as an English Language teacher for a year in the Ukraine.

On returning to the UK, I worked in London for 5 years for a couple of large international banks.

Following on from this I moved to Finland to continue teaching English as a foreign language and I stayed there for a further 5 years.

I eventually returned home and currently work for Teleperformance, a call centre in Erskine, Scotland.

I am married to Priscilla who is Cameroonian and speaks French as her first language.

We have a 3 year old son, Jean-Charles, the subject of all my stories.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, television and meeting up with friends, not as regularly as I once did. Fatherhood takes priority now.
